I did not continue the booking, but my points were not reversed

All incomplete reservations will be released within 20 minutes if you have selected the card option. Your points will be reversed to your account automatically.

For the Payment Center Partners option, you have 8 hours from the time you booked to settle the amount due. Failure to settle within the given period, your GetGo redemption booking will be auto-canceled and the points will be reversed to your account automatically.

Should you later decide to go ahead with your original travel, you would need to make a new GetGo redemption booking which is subject to the prevailing fare.
