As an extra layer of security, we require members to validate the email address and phone number registered in your GetGo account.
Below are the steps to follow to do this:
- Log-in to your GetGo account.
- Go to the “Profile” tab.
- On the left options panel, right below your profile picture, select “Verification”.
- You will then be routed to the Verification Page. This is where you will verify your email address and phone number.
Verifying your Email Address:
- Click the “Verify Email” button.
- A pop-up window will show to enable you to review the email address.
Tip: If you need to edit it, just click on the pencil icon. You will be routed to the Login Details page to update your email address. - If you are in a rush and won’t be able to perform the verification step, just click on the “Remind Later” button. Otherwise, click the “Send Email” button.
- An acknowledgment message will be shown on the webpage
- At this point, you will need to access your email to check if you have already received the verification email.
Tip: Kindly check your Spam/Junk mail. At times, our verification email gets routed there due to your email host’s security setting.
- Click the “Verify” button.
- Once done, you will be directed to the GetGo website to acknowledge that your email has been successfully verified.
- To check, you may log-in to your account and proceed to the Verification page.
- A confirmation message will be shown indicating that you have successfully verified your email address.
Verifying your Phone Number:
- Click the “Verify Phone Number” button.
- A pop-up window will appear to enable you to review the phone number listed.
Tip: Drop the “0” when you input your mobile phone number. - If you are in a rush and won’t be able to perform the verification step, just click on the “Remind Later” button. Otherwise, click the “Send Code” button.
- At this point, you will need to wait for an SMS message containing your verification code.
- Once received input the code into the verification window.
- An acknowledgement message will appear to indicate that you have successfully verified your phone number.
- To check, you may log-in to your account and proceed to the Verification page.
- A confirmation message will be shown indicating that you have successfully verified your phone number.
I have not received the SMS with my verification code.
If you have not received your verification code after several attempts, feel free to submit a request by clicking "Contact Us". On the upper right-hand corner of the page. Under Topic, please choose the Account > Profile Update.
